Piezo Tube Striped Electrode Application:

Acoustic logging includes logging methods such as sound velocity, sound amplitude, and full wave. By measuring the response of the rock mass near the borehole to the artificial elastic wave field, the purpose of detecting the properties of the target formation (porosity, longitudinal and transverse wave velocity, etc.) is achieved. Sonic logging can be used in cased holes or open holes.

Sonic logging is also called sonic time-difference logging. It uses a transducer to emit sound waves to the probe formation, and achieves the purpose of sonic logging by measuring the difference in the arrival time of the sliding longitudinal waves of multiple receiving transducers. Sound velocity logging can use sound systems such as single-shot and single-receiving, single-shot and double-receiving, and dual-shot and double-receiving. Sonic logging is mainly affected by factors such as changes in well diameter, formation thickness, and cycle jumping. Its uses include: ①stratum stratification; ②determining the porosity of the formation.
